As a figurative extension of the term, “Bulk” is from a series of experimental gestures prompted by an interest in locating the parallels between human vulnerability and material vulnerabilities unique to glass.  Notions of mass and measurements of weight are conceptual considerations in work that finds individual glass objects collectively overwhelmed by disorderly conditions…and collectively surrendering to them.

Down below is 11.278 pounds of compulsion, control,  and skill acquisition in the form of a lumpy blob.
