By channeling the tenets of skill acquisition, technical excellence, and “mastery” within contemporary craft practice, this work examines the myths and truths of “perfection” (with reliance an equally mythological motif of “perfection” within glass culture) through circumstantial instances of compromise, mishap, and surrender.
